No Downtime Needed For Flooded Factory, Weston-Super-Mare
Mr Dunleavey a factory owner in Weston-Super-Mare called us over the Christmas period, to report that his factory was flooded, and required clearing and drying quickly, so business was not affected. The flooded factory was a result of a burst water pipe, which had left 6000 sqft of the factory floor covered in 2 inches of water.
We arranged a visit and attended with a team of people to extract the water, remove damaged carpets, move the stock from direct contact with the water to prevent any further loss and installed drying equipment to start the drying process. The drying regime continued for 3 weeks whilst the factory was fully operational again.
We carried out this work over the bank holiday period so the customer could re-open his business with minimal disruption on the Monday morning. Once all work was completed customer sent an email:
‘Thank you for your help. I thought the invoice represented good value for money, we received fantastic service from your company, and as a result we didn’t have a single hour of downtime. Please pass on my thanks to everyone involved.’
Thank you to all our staff that worked over the Christmas bank holiday period.
